Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has teamed up with the NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency to offer a series of forums for educators to join together and discuss the revised NQS and what it means for inclusion in your service. Come and meet Rhonda Livingstone, ACECQA’s National Education Leader talk about the new NQS and workshop what inclusion looks like in practice with other educators. These sessions have been extremely popular when they have been run in other regions and places book out fast. The cost of the sessions has been subsidised, so educators only pay $25 daytime/$15 evening including light refreshments and a free sample set of ACECQA Quest for Quality cards for every attendee.

All sessions are accredited with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

The forum will include discussion around:

  1. How the National Quality Framework (NQF) and standards underpin inclusion
  2. What inclusive practice and environments look like
  3. Key changes to the NQF
  4. Strategic inclusion planning
  5. Stories from the field

What educators who attended this forum had to say:

I thought that inclusion was only covered in Quality Area 6, now I understand that it underpins all of the quality areas.”
